In 2022, the Philadelphia Eagles unveiled a refreshed wordmark logo, transitioning from their previous stylized design to a more minimalist and modern aesthetic. This new wordmark was introduced to align with contemporary design trends and to present a cleaner visual identity for the team. The updated logo features streamlined typography, departing from the intricate details of its predecessor. While the primary eagle head logo remained unchanged, the new wordmark was gradually integrated into various team materials and merchandise. Notably, it wasn't until 2024 that the updated wordmark appeared on the team's jerseys, winning Super Bowl LIX in it's first season on the field. This strategic rollout ensured a cohesive brand evolution, resonating with both longstanding fans and new audiences.
